Electric vehicle owners can get a charge at new station

The City of Fort Worth and Revitalize Charging Solutions have partnered to launch an electric vehicle charging station on the south end of downtown.
The charging station, which can accommodate two vehicles simultaneously, is at 1100 Taylor St., in spaces 24 and 25 of Lot 11.
Revitalize Charging Solutions is a Fort Worth-based company whose mission is to help create a greener world by reducing the amount of greenhouse gases released into the air by automobiles while also helping the nation reduce its dependence on foreign oil.
The city’s goal is to review this new technology and to assess the demand.
“In Fort Worth, we strive to be on the cutting edge of technology and efforts to help save our economy, and this electric vehicle charging station is another way we are doing that,” District 9 Councilmember Ann Zadeh said. “We’re happy to launch this charging station in District 9, and hopefully we will see this concept spread throughout the entire city.”
